Small hand bowl made from a coconut shell. The incised pattern underneath is revealed by a rubbed-in white wash: abstract repeat shapes radiate from the bowl's base.

This dish at first sight seems plain and uninteresting, with an undecorated bowl. Underneath however there is a circular, maze-like central motif, flanked on the right and left by winged insects, their heads projecting beyond the diameter of the rim.

This whistling bottle has been formed into the shape of a bird which sits upon three eggs/pods. The neck of the bottle sits upon the birds back. Between this and the back of the head a handle has been formed, pierced with a small hole.

Famille rose metal export bowl painted on the exterior with scenes of European figures reclining against rocks and under trees. Above the scenes is a border of black and gilt scrolling foliage on a pale blue background with a similar border on a pale pink background below.

Zhejiang celadon ware bowl. Heavily potted deep bowl with rounded sides and foot. The interior of the bowl is decorated with fluted sides and an impressed leaf-design in the centre. The exterior is decorated with a broad band of key fret incised in the glaze.
