Incomplete statuette of the king Amenophis III, with most of the head and limbs missing. He is standing with his left foot to the front and his arms pendent. He has a beard and wears a wesekh collar around his neck and an armlet of three bands around his left upper arm.

Sphinx statue of Tuthmosis IV, with front legs, beard and part of the face missing. Tuthmosis IV wears a nemes headdress pulled tight across the forehead and tied at the back, with a flap hanging at both sides; the nemes is surmounted by an uraeus, worn on the forehead.

Stelephorous statue of Ptahmeri, high-priest of the god Amun and royal official. He wears a long bag-tunic with short sleeves and has a beard and hair in the style of the 18th Dynasty. He is kneeling on both knees and is holding a round-topped stela in front of him with both hands.


Obelisk dedicated to Amenemhat

Obelisk dedicated to Amenemhat

Limestone obelisk dedicated to Amenemhat, Overseer of the Antechamber of the Store of Fruits. There are inscriptions on all four sides of the obelisk, quite roughly carved into the limestone.

Rectangular stela depicting the priest Nu and his wife Imarr sitting on bull-legged chairs at either side of a table. The table is laden with 12 loaves of bread and is surrounded by more offerings such as beer, fowl and oxen.

Mummy label made of wood. It is irregularly shaped with two holes by which the label would be attached to the mummy after the embalming process for identification during transportation and in the afterlife. The label is inscribed on both sides in black ink.

Ivory cosmetic spoon with shallow circular bowl surrounded by a zigzag border. The handle of the spoon is of similar width to the bowl and depicts an ibex, facing to the right, kneeling on the right fore-leg.
Previously broken and repaired.

The bowl of the spoon is missing, leaving only a small section of a zigzag border visible. On the front of the handle is a naked woman wearing only a headdress and a collar.

Block statue of Seneb, squatting on the ground with his legs tucked up to his body. His feet can be seen protruding from under a long-sleeved garment and his arms are crossed with palms flat on his knees.


Ivory spoon

Delicate spoon with circular bowl and fine handle. At the end of the handle is a hand with the thumb running along its length and the four fingers curled around the handle.
The surface of the bowl is scratched.

Carnelian necklace consisting of 61 beads carved in the shape of poppy-heads or cornflowers and 120 spherical beads. The necklace has been restrung.


Blue and yellow glass penannular earring

Blue glass penannular earring with applied yellow decoration. The two loops would have held wire to pass through a pierced ear lobe.
The earring was made from bending a glass cane to form an open circle and then applying the two vertical loops and decoration.


Glass earring pendant

Mushroom-shaped earring pendant made of dark blue and cyan glass in the form of a papyrus column. The pendant is pierced along its length to enable it to be suspended from the ear by wire.


Faience finger ring

Finger ring formed of three green bands with Hathor and three cats in blue-purple faience. Hathor is depicted wearing a cornice and having cow's ears.
The cat is the sacred animal of the goddess Hathor.


Alabaster cosmetic jar

Alabaster cosmetic jar

Alabaster concave-sided jar with wide foot and rim, used for storing cosmetics. The front of the jar is inscribed with the names of Pepi II framed by a sky-symbol at the top with a was-sceptre at either side.
The rim has been repaired. Used for storing cosmetics.
