Description:
Wuzhu (five zhu coin).
Circular coin, cast in copper alloy with a square central hole. There is a two-character inscription in seal script (zhuanshu) on the obverse reading 'wuzhu', with 'wu' to the right of the hole, and 'zhu' to the left. There is no inner rim on the obverse. The reverse of the coin is plain except for the inner and outer rims.
The coin is slightly corroded with a green patina.
