A finely detailed wooden carving of the demon queller, Zhong Kui.
Zhong Kui is depicted crouching on a table with his right arm raised and holding a club in his right hand. In his left hand is a demon, kneeling on the table to Zhong Kui's left hand side, and in front of Zhong Kui stands a small figure. Under the table are four demons, one of which is holding a box; by his feet is a large pomegranate.
